Please know before starting a project with Sheila Mari Design that my primary form of communication is e-mail. However, I am happy to have an initial phone consultation if that is what you prefer.
Sheila Mari Design accepts payments through PayPal or by mailed personal/business check. By using PayPal or paying by check you agree to these terms of design.
Sheila Mari Design does not issue refunds for work performed. In the event that you cancel your order prior to the start of your project or before completion, you may lose your deposit and/or other payments at the sole discretion of Sheila Mari Design.
DESIGN CREDITS ON WEBSITES
Once your design is complete, a Sheila Mari Design text link will be added to your footer. By paying your invoice, you agree to keep this credit in place as long as you have the design on your website. Rights to stock photos, graphics, source code and software are not transferred to the client, and remain the property of their respective owners. Sheila Mari Design retains the right to use the completed project and any preliminary designs for the purpose of marketing materials and portfolio.
DESIGN CREDITS ON PRINTED MATERIALS
Sheila Mari Design shall be accorded a credit line on all published, printed material, to read as follows: ‘Graphic Design by www.SheilaMariDesign.com’, unless otherwise agreed.
Before your project begins, you will be given a time frame upon which your project should be completed. Unforseen circumstances may occur and your design could possibly take longer to complete. Sheila Mari Design will notify clients of any unforseen time delays.
I keep your files in my archive library for up to two years. This means that if you need to change any wording, pictures, colors, etc, I would be able to update your files for you. Revisions and editing are subject to my hourly rate that will be quoted and agreed upon by you before any edits are made.
All designs are protected under copyright and are property of Sheila Mari Design.
All correspondence and documents provided will be treated as confidential between the client and the designer, unless consent has been granted by both parties involved.
